Civil Support for a 115kV high voltage line interchange. Project consisted coastline new foundations for overhead to underground interchange in San Francisco, CA. Project was necessary to maintain proper aerial clearance next to San Francisco International Airport (SFO). Project consisted of 48 pier foundations, the largest being 78” diameter, 36’6” deep. Project was complicated by contaminated soils that required special handling. The project location being close to the coastline required dewatering.
