Contract Type: Design Assist, Cost Plus GMP
Machado & Sons Construction, Inc was contracted by Turlock Irrigation District (TID) as the EPC contractor for Project Nexus. Construction of solar canopies over various sections of TID’s irrigation canals. The team managed the design-assist process from green field to commercial operation. The project is a collaboration among public, private, and academic sectors to determine the feasibility of installing solar panels over canals in California.
