A 2.2-mile replacement project consisting of new steel gas transmission pipeline and new Polyethylene distribution pipeline.
Work performed during day and night shifts on CA State Route 89 just outside of Tahoe City, CA. Work performed under Cal-Trans/CADOT requirements/jurisdiction. Changing high Sierra weather conditions and SR-89 being an extremely busy 2-lane highway created a challenging project. Working in close proximity to Lake Tahoe required strict adherence to SWPPP BMPS and water quality requirements. Zero injuries, near misses, line strikes or issues.
